The lake finally froze over Tues. night-Wed. AM(11/29-11/30). As of 11 AM Sat. it is now 1 1/2" consistant thickness. Looks like tectonic plates with all the "spider" cracks, which is good for making better ice. The only question will be how much snow we get tonight & tomorrow. There is only 1 inch of snow on the surface right now. Very slick. Forecast for next week is 0"s so hoping there isn't too much insulation dumped on it first.
