Alleghney Reservoir Ice Conditions

Hi all.....Last year I was walking on water New Years day between Webbs boat launch and Willow Bay. What is the chance I'll be doing it again this year? Things are just starting to set up around here and everyone is getting fired up to start slammin the lakers/whities and perch on lake simcoe, ontario. Maybe I'll have to bring up the gear and stop and check it out for myself on the way to Red Oak, who knows may even run into the kind gent from Bradford who was nice enough to let me spend the morning fishing with him.

The hard water guys around here are not too happy with this mild weather. Some are even saying the ice will not be thick enough to fish this winter. I will keep you posted as soon as I get some promising reports.
