A spear into a fish is so final, same with the fish that get off the spear and swim away to die then you continue spearing, just like the hunter who wounds a few deer, keep shooting until your tag is used. Let's see 40 huts x's 10 pike is 400. 80 huts would be 800, x's 10 years thats......... fairly damaging especially to the youth who tend to love to catch any fish and likely aren't out spearing, not many mommy's want their son or daughter peering into such an ez hole to fall into, I guess I don't understand what happened with Cass.
