Ice conditions are very good with 12 to 13 inches.
Snow cover on the lakes very from 3 to 6 inches.
Bluegills, action remains very good, anglers are using Tungsten jigs in a size 12 or 14 tipped with a mousie or a couple of spikes. The bigger gills are deeper, check the 8 to 10 foot depths. Smaller gills are all over the 4 foot weed edges.
Perch, still on the slow side but a few are being caught on wigglers or small fatheads. Deeper weeds are holding nice fish but a few anglers are getting some up on the flats.
Crappie, nice catches using rosies and tip downs. Set up over the the top of weeds in 10 feet of water. Jigging plastics such as scented wedges are hot!
Walleye, Very good late night bite from 9 pm thru 1 am, with another at 5 to 7 am. Small shiners are still the walleyes favorite treat.
Good Luck
Dave
