Here's an update of what I know. Please Join in! 20"+ on Big Lake (Pine/Stoney). 18"+ ice on Walker Bay.
The Big Lake has been producing larger fish but less numbers. Shallower fishing, 12'-18'. Earlier in the month it was common for three eaters per guy every time we went out. Each trip would also have a 26"+ (by the way they always go back). Fun times.
Very easy to catch good numbers in Walker Bay. Most humps are still producing. You have to sort through the small guys for 2-3 eaters. Sundown still the best for numbers. Chance for larger fish at dawn. Earlier in the month there were several 26"+ taken off the humps, but the larger fish seem to be hiding now. There's been a couple in the shallows though...
