Well the ice on the bay is finally safe enough where I feel comfortable taking customers out.

Well the white fishing continues to be great with limit catches the last 2 days in a short period of time. The fish were a lot more picky for us the last 2 days, so it took some persuading before they committed and ate the bait.

Bait of choice seems to be jigging raps or Swedish pimples along with the slider hook above main bait. I usually tip bottom bait with half of minnow and slider I use gulp waxies!

The bigger schools of fish are in the 15fow to 20fow, but there also is a lot of people fishing shallower and also catching them.

The fishing on the bay is continues to be RED HOT!!

Before I get into the fishing report, I want to stress that the ice on the bay is very unsafe in many areas. If you are not familar with the ice call someone that is, or just don't go at all. There still is a lot of fishable areas but please use extreme caution before venturing out.

Well like is said the whitefishing is RED HOT! The key is getting away from the crowds and the fish seem to never stop biting! We are using jigging raps and pimples tipped with minnow heads and using gulp waxies on the slider hooks. Most of the fish are coming on the slider hook, but some days they are smashing the bottom bait as well.


Like I said get away from the crowds and you will find the fish not as picky.
