Well we finally got a chance to get out on some hardwater this past weekend and had some fun sitting on our buckets. We managed some nice numbers and good size Saturday morning on canals near Selfidge ANB. Using Ken Spoons, Silver Streaks and Gusters were what they wanted. Chrome with red bead, and chrome with yellow bead. Fishing buddy was using a jigging wrap and did well too. Bigger spoons produced less fish but more quality fish. Stopped in at Anglers Point Marina and Tackle and they have everything you need. We headed out Sunday and worked around, fished for a short while in the basin at Selfride and did very well untill the traffic found its way out. Went back canal hoping and did ok too. After making our rounds, Crocker Launch accross from Eddies Drive in was the place to be. Good numbers and quality fish too. Just a quickly as we got ice, warm weather and inches of rain shut everything down. Do not recomend being out on the ice for a little while til we get some more cold weather. Hope to have more to report soon! Good luck and Good Fishing!
Dont forget to stop in at your local bait shops and say hi... Just as we are praying for some ice they need your support too to stay in business.. No better time to stop in, have a cup of coffee and pick up something new!
