Almost skunked!!!!

Well not skunked but darn close. I worked for over half a day to finally get one whitefish. I don't know if the current played a part in not landing any fish or not. The current was so strong I couldn't even mark my baits in my vexilar in the 10 degree cone. The line would go through the hole and then str8 off to the side. I did hook into 6 or 7 whitefish only to have them get off. Guess it wasn't tomjohn's day...lol

Well don't feel bad I went out today off the yacht club and nothing didn't even mark any fish must be the current. Where were u fishing at? Seen a school of whitefish off the yacht club last year.
