Well with the weather we been having we might as well get the boats ready. There is still good ice however in the bays. I have a picture for you we put 30 nice big White Fish on the ice yesturday and another twenty today in about two hours each time. I will tell you we are about 100-150yds from open water but the ice from there in is about 3ft. thick and has been there all season. It is pretty solid and takes the Jiffy auger the full length to get through. The shore ice is starting to deterate so be very careful in those areas.
