On the water Wednesday

:)I hope to on the river below Nekoosa on Wednesday, and maybe below the Petenwell and Castle Rock Dams before the weekend.
I will post if it all works out. The word I am getting from friends that were out is; there are active fish in the river. Many 15-17 inch males.

I could not pass up this great weather to get some spring yard work done and out of the way. I hope to get out on the river below "Pete" dam tomorrow, unless they have the gates open.
They have all gates open at Nekoosa so the river is high and fast. The lake level is rising quite fast as well. As a matter of fact, I would not be surprised if it is ice free by the weekend. I will try to keep you posted of all changes.
