Ice Out?

Hello all,

I was told today that the ice is out on the Big Chip. Has to be one of the earlier ice outs in history. I have only been fishing the Chip for 4 years now but this year the ice is easily out a month earlier than the last couple years.

Thanks for the report Josh. Ready for boat fishing now. I have an app. to get my boat all ready to go this wednesday. Plan on being crappie fishing next weekend. I'll call you. How's the floor coming in your boat? Your boat will look brand new when your done. Have to get a lot of fish slime on your new floor this summer. See you later.

Well the inside of the boat will look nice, outside might be next years project:) Had a co-worker out on the flowage last weekend and he informed me that the water temps were around 44-46 degrees.
