John and his wife Holly from Jackson, WI joined me on the river below Nekoosa. Tough cold front bite. Only seven"shorties", and 7 white bass. Only one of the males were milking, the rest were still hard. All gates at Nekoosa are closed, so the current is back to normal. All fish except one white bass were caught on cranks.
I am going try and get out on "The Rock" early next week to see if the crappies are on the bite yet.
