I met Bill and Randy at Chester this morning for a 5 hour trip on the river. A little cool and breezy to start the day, but it turned out OK. Randy had the first fish of the day, a nice 26+ inch walleye, then it was Bill's turn. Not to be out done he boated a 26 incher of his own, both personal best walleyes. The live bait bite was slow all morning pulling flies, a few white bass, and the 2 big walleyes. We ended the day day trolling the river and finished with: 2 26+ slot walleye, 1 "keeper", 3 "shorties", 1 nice pike, and 3 whitebass.

What a great day. The river is beautiful this time of year with the trees budding out in different colors; birds are active; and oh yeah.....we were catching big fish! Really outstanding job by Jerry....who put us on the fish, but as importantly, 'showed us around' so we can return with our own boat and safely navigate to the spots. We went back this morning....before we forgot, and found it was a little easier with a 30 + year veteran at the helm.....but due to good teaching, we made the circuit just fine. Thanks again Jerry.

Thanks Randy, it is always a treat to watch clients get excited when they set the hook on a big "eye" like you and Bill caught. Thanks to you and Bill for the great burger lunch at Trails End, a nice way to cap off the day.

Thanks Jerry, you never disappoint. We caught three beautiful fish and had the greatest time. What a great start to the season. Most of all I would like to thank you for all the help and information you gave us. Hope you have a great season.
