Big chip report 4/29/12

Hello all,

Well got out fishing today for some panfish, but didnt have a lot of luck. Fished for about 4 hours and my bro and I only caught 5 fish between the two of us. 3 gills and 2 perch. Only had waxies so not too surprised. The temps were 50-51 in big water and 52-53 in the bays. I thought they would be biting a little more in the warmer bays, but it seemed slower for what the temps were. Good luck everyone for opener next weekend.

Thanks for your report Josh. I didn't get a chance to get out this weekend. Spent the weekend looking for a place to live and found a place we are going to make an offer on. Then we'll be neighbors. Also been trying to list my property in MI. Get all this stuff done before the opener. Hopefully next weekend the walleyes will be active. We are getting warmer weather now so the water should warm up to where the crappie bite could be good. Good luck fishing everyone.
