Partner Sam W and I fished the event once again. Water temps 52-55, good weeds but the weather (as usual) played into everyone's game plan. Cold, rain and ENE winds at 10-20......typical tournament weather in the upper Midwest for this time of year. I ended up losing a muskie around 1 pm on Bluff. Fish hit a Hellhound Jr. Puppy, set the hook, rolled it on the surface and it came unpinned. Saw one other muskie the entire day.
All in 9 muskies were registered with fellow FRV members Dave VD and Chris D. taking top honors and big fish for the event. CONGRATS!
