5/9 & 5/10/12 - Rock River, 58-63 degrees, partly cloudy, winds S at 5-15 mph. The bite can be a bit tough at times finessing and feel is needed the use of braided line was much help. On our last trip I caught 15 whitebass, 7 walleye and a 32' Pike. Most of the fish were caught on a jig/plastic and minnow for the walleye, trolling caught the whitebass, pike and a couple walleye. The best depth was 5-7 ft of water. The wind at times made boat control difficult. The best colored jig was orange or chartruse.
