The past two days has once again seen some very good walleye action. The eyes were scattered in different depths and different locations, but most all the fish caught the past wo days have all been relating to wood. Tuesday for example, all of our eyes came out of 3 to 4 foot of water in and around wood and weeds, while yesterdays eyes came from 3 foot to 14 foot, but once again, all the fish were relating to some sort of wood cover. Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads did the trick not only on the eyes, but also on numerous smallies and pike.
Heading out today for a meal of fresh panfish, but will probably throw a few casts for an eye or two or three.
Will keep you posted,
