Fishing has been good for just about every species. Lake Delavan, Geneva, Waubesa, and Monona have all had a great pan fish bite for those looking to catch numbers of fish for the frying pan. There are some in the final stages of spawning in 2-6 feet most are moving deeper along the weedline in about 16 to 18 feet of water. The best presentaton has been useing jigs. Walleye action on the Madison Chain has been good with a couple of trophy sized fish caught the past week. Best presentation has been trolling and livebait rigs, Lake Geneva largemouth have moved into the shallow water been in 4-6 feet. The smallmouth have been getting really active hanging in the 12-15 feet. Delavan Lake bass has been excellent for numbers and trophy sized fish! The best presentations have been useing livebait with all the recent boat traffic!
I have a few open spots book soon to take advantage while the baitfish are small and the bites are on!
