Yesterday greeted us with just beautiful weather, thats if you like strong winds with front after front moving thru supplying us with medium to heavy downpours. But, with that said, it didn't have a major no no effect on the walleye as they were in close to the shallow wood and on a pretty decent bite. Using 1/16 ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with 1/2 crawler, we boated 3 limits of eyes plus 8 jumbo perch along with numerous pike and smallies. Called it a day at 2 PM due to one last big blast from mother nature, just too much wind and rain.
