The Bay de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishing club will be hosting the 3rd annual Angler Young Angler tournament on Saturday, June 16th. Teams consist of one adult and two young anglers, 17 or younger. Over $7,000 in prizes. First place prize is a Lund boat, motor, and trailer package, along with and invitation to fish the championship on Lake of the Woods. Just an update on the prize list.

1st place gets a 12 foot Lund Boat, motor, Minnkota trolling motor and trailer valued at over $4000. Winning team will also receive an all expense paid trip to fish the championship on Lake of the Woods in Kenora, Ontario. There you will fish with a guide out of their boat.

2nd place gets a 3 day fishing trip on Lake of the Woods, staying at the Wig Wam Resort in Baudette, Minnesota. Valued at over $1000.

3rd place gets an all day lake trout fishing charter on Lake Superior valued at $625.

Lots of other fishing related prizes and gift certificates to local businesses.

Event will also be filmed and air on The Sportsman channel on "Anglin' is Good TV."
