Been a little tough the last few days. The walleye that had been pretty much biting at will have slowed to a crawl and been fighting for every one we get. Bass have been a little more cooperative. A couple of my clients have picked up some small muskies while walleye fishing. I got out Sunday late afternoon for a bit of musky fishing on my own. Had three follows and picked up one shorty. Tried a mix of surface lures, bucktails, and jerks. All three of the follows by larger fish came on my Smuttly Dog perch pattern lure (6" model). The one short musky I picked off hit a Mepps Musky Killer brown squirrel hair with a copper blade. Here are a few pics from the last couple days outings.
