6/11/12- Lake Mendota., 65 degrees Sunny, E 15 mph.Fishing on the madison lakes has been good. The smallmouth today being the day after a busy weekend and east winds slowed the bite a bit still we managed catching 12 per outing really makes for a fun time wit hall the other fish mixed in(gills, perch, rock bass, sheephead, and whitebass. We caught good numbers of keeper sized 7 ½” to 8 ½” and few giant bluegills over 11” along with others that were released along with some keeper sized perch action on lake mendota.
