The Musky Action was good prior to the past couple days. The front that came in on Sunday led to a major High pressure with little wind and high skies. These conditions have shut them right down for me. We are expecting the heat to hit us starting tomorrow. By the weekend things should come back around. We were moving most fish still on bucktails with teh double 10's being the best producer. last weekend the fish were shallow, in 3-5 feet of water. Walleye action was good. With the weather we were out on monday and decided to cover water and look for active fish. We trolled crawler harnesses most of the day. We were able to boat 20+ eyes. Most were 16-19". We also had some bonus crappies and pike up to 35". All in all it was a pretty good day. Once we found a good pod of fish we continued to fish through them. This can be a very effective tactic when conditions are tough.
