Hi everyone,
Guided Rod and his wife Sue out of Chippewa Pines resort yesterday. We had an absolutely gorgeous bluebird day wirh abundant sunshine, a good enough NW breeze to provide a good walleye chop and hungry walleyes. We wound up catching 10 walleyes keeping a three person limit of 9, all before lunch. After lunch we fished for bass and panfish catching many sm bass, perch, and bluegills releasing all of those.
We caught all the fish on the woody humps losing many jigs, because the walleyes were right in the wood hunting up their prey. That is the reason I make leadfree jigs. They are nontoxic and environmentally more friendly and my jigs perform great. Just ask Rod and Sue, we caught many fish yesterday all jigging with leeches. The air temps were a comfortable mid 80's and the water temps were at 80. Very pleasant day weather wise. If you would like to be one of the first to use and rate my jigs, give me a holler. We can set up your day on the water. Good luck fishing everyone.
