Had our Brainerd Lakes Chapter Muskies Inc. outing today on Wabedo and Kevin caught this nice 43 1/4" musky on a spinnerbait. I fished with Donny Hines (we had a blast talking muskies all day!) and we moved two fish. I had a nice fish (over 40") smoke my Medussa but it appears she short striked me and she shredded all three tails without getting hooked. She showed herself briefly after she let go of the lure after two head shakes, only to add insult to injury!! I also had a 40" class fish follow my bucktail without striking. Most muskies seemed to be relating to the deep weed edge rather than open water and when ever we had overcast conditions today we seemed to move the fish. Water temps are still rather warm, and water clarity on Wabedo right now is murky brown after all of last month's rain. Here is a picture of Kevin's fish with his partner Brett Stark.
