[Jerry Tipping]

Fred and Beau from friendship, Wisconsin called for a trip on "The Rock" on Wednesday. We met at the ramp by Splash and headed out to the river channel in front of Dellwood. We worked jigs tipped with minnows and leeches along the 12-16 depths of the channel edges and caught some walleye, cat and a nice perch.They had never pulled cranks on planer boards before so we put them in for a while and caught a mixed bag. We finished the morning with 3 "keepers", 6 "shorties", 7 whitebass, 1 crappie, 10 cat, 2 smallies, 1 perch, and 1 sheephead.:)
