Fishing on Lake Michigan out of Sturgeon Bay is going very well. Limit catches of Kings and Steelhead are still happening. Afternoons tend to be alittle slower but very good catches still happening. Flys and Dodgers are still the best but spoons are working also. 100-200ft. of water from 100 down to the serface with early morning bit being higher.
I have been hearing the Walleyes are really turning on and are they some chunks with all the forage in the bay. A friend of mine called last night said they and some friends in another boat caught and released over fifty walleyes in a half of day ( he said it was like Spring fishing) and the biggest fish was almost 30 inches and over 10lbs.
Good Luck
Capt. Fritz
PS. here are some snap shots of a few catches.
