It was a cool morning on "the Rock", in more ways than one. I met Bob from Valparaiso, IN, along with his son-in-law Erik, and Erik's dad at the Buckhorn ramp at 6 am and the temperature was 44 degrees with a stiff north wind. Needless to say it was not a morning for shorts and a t-shirt. The fish were not to cooperative either. We trolled and jigged and could only come up with 3 "shorties, 3 white bass and 1 smallmouth. Water temperature dropped to 70.2 degrees and the water is really dirty and full of floating weeds and grass.
I will be out on "Pete" tomorrow, hopefully with a better report.
Keep a tight line!!!
