Week of August 4

Arrived at Mylie's on the 4th. Were greeted by rain and wind. Fished primarily for walleyes. Fished the islands near sunset channel, caught fish on jigs and minnows as well as spinners and bb's. Fish were around the 15 foot mark. 2 days it was dead calm and we fished open water reefs where the fish were on the top of the reefs. Ran up to Obabikon lake one afternoon and caught some small northern and some small mouth bass. Caught plenty of fish to eat and brought some home as well. Released several walleyes over 20 including 2 25 inchers.

Saw some fawn twins on an island and a bunch of bears at the dump. Even had a visitor at the camper next door!

I want to congratulate Justin on his weight loss. Keep up the good work!
