John from Franklin, Wisconsin along with his sons John and Zach went out this morning on a belated Father's Day trip on "Pete". It was a great morning, except for all the nuisance bugs on the water. We started off jigging went through all the minnows on a school of aggressive white bass. We then put the planer boards in the water and finished the day with 4 "keepers", 22 "shorties, 18 white bass, and 2 smallmouth. We also lost another 18 incher at the net, and a nice 25+ slot walleye. Had 1 big pike on, at least in the upper 30's, but he rolled, cut the line and waved his tail as he swam away.:)
