Lowell and his sons Steve, and Mark booked a trip on "Pete" for this morning. I picked them up on their dock at 7 am and we headed south for some jigging. We hit two different spots without much success so we put the boards out and had 12 nice big white bass, 9 "shorties", and 2 cat. There is a huge bug hatch going on right now and I suspect that is killing the bite for a few days. The surface of the water down by the dike is covered with hulls. We literally had thousands stuck to us in the boat. This should only last a few days and they will be gone.
