Water temps have been declining over the past few weeks. Today according to the Mill report water temps is at 74*.
Fishing has been a little slow, thinking the fish are acclimating themselves to the dropping water temps.
Water level remains at summer pool. I've been asked if they will raise the level in the fall months. I think it all depends on rain fall. They can maintain this level up to December 31st.
Kalie and I just returned from the National Championship Musky Open in Eagle River. Hearing from those who caught fish the success was shallow, very shallow and the morning bite was good. We'll see if the shallow bite works down here.
