Guided a half day in the evening with mike and his son gage. I had a great time fishing with them. It was very cool being on the other side of things for me. What I mean is my dad is who I do 80% of my fishing with. Im not sure how to put it other than I had a smile on my face the whole night. We fished hard and a little after sunset mike had a fish explode on a hog wobbler. Only problem is the fish didn't hit. We finished the spot and then went through a second time. This time the fish hit. Only problem was it hit me. Always great to get a fish in the boat but I was pulling had for gage to stick it. Fish ended up being 40.5 and smoked the cowgirl in the 8!!! At about 11 pm I lost a big fish. Never got a look at it but there was a ton of weight on the hook set.
