Water levels are starting to come down quite a bit now that the rain has been fairly none existent lately. Water temps have been up and down from high 60's to low 70's but with the next coldfront expected to be here in a couple days I doubt we will see the temps over 70 much more this year.
Fishing continues to be good. Most walleye trips are still producing limits and the jumbo perch fishing has been great as well. Walleye action has still been mostly on leeches, crawlers and cranks. Perch action has been good in the wind blown areas with jig/minnow presentation.
Musky action has been hit and miss. Lots of high sky calm days have made it a challenge but there have been some very nice fish showing up at times. With the cool weather headed our way its that time of year the big pike should start putting on the major feed bags.
