Left camp on saturday 9/01 after 5 days of very good fishing. Had no problem catching large walleye's & the most consistant size smallmouth bass ( 16 - 19 inch ). Russ & i both agree that the eye's are coming to the shallow depth's after a hot summer.
Muskie's - lots of follows & a occasional strike but nothing in the boat. I think the true muskie hunters will have no problem catching fish. Did see larger northerns being caught on windy rock points.
Have a wedding to finish plans on but still plan on a late fall fishing experience @ witchbay.
