Hey Guys!
Water temps are cooling down and the fishing is getting better! Had a report today that the suface temp was about 65. Expecting it to drop fast with the cold night coming up. Down into the 30's!
Walleye are nailing small crappies by the dams. Use a crappie looking bait like the Storm Wildeye Crappie or a crappie pattern crank bait. Through it right up along the dam and crank 'em in! You can also try the trestles in the evening. I was doing well at about 7pm on. I was using a plain hook and sinker with a minnow or crawler.
Big slabs are being cought at prides dam! A slip bobber set up with a crappie minnow or a beetlespin have been working great!
Muskie are still a little on the slow side. When the water cools a little more they will be attacking the big muskie suckers.
Well I hope I helped you guys out!
See you on the water,
Shane M.
