The wind has died down to a measely 5mph finally. The winds definately have impacted the fishing. It is a little slower than it has been for the past few weeks, even in the wind. The water temp has dropped due to the wind. Last weeks muskie tournament had some great results on Cass Lake, our cabins brought in several 46,47,49 and a 50 inch 18131 Dave's muskie at 49"
Today started the walleye tournament on Cass Lake - These guys are lucky not to have the winds of last week. but some 80 boats are here this weekend. 18132 - they were off to a big start after the fog this morning.
My regular guests are bringing in there fill of fish and are taking some home even though it is a little slower yesterday and today. some are using minnows and a lindy, night guys are using the shadwraps.
