I had a rare late afternoon trip on "The Rock". John and Paul from Milwaukee phoned me about 2 pm. John said they have been on the water all day with no luck what-so-ever, he asked if I could take them out and show them some spots and presentations to use. I met them at Buckhorn at 3 pm and we went by the south tower and pulled flies and boated some whitebass and short walleyes. Then we moved by the Boy Scout Camp and continued to pull flies along the break and had more "shorties", white bass, and a sheephead. Moved to the north end and pulled cranks on boards and finished with more "shorties", white bass, and 1 "keeper". They both enjoyed thanked me for taking them out on short notice, and showing them that there are catchable fish in Castle Rock lake.
