What to Bring?

Ty,

I am coming up next Thursday, and of course getting out with you on Friday, and was wondering what baits might be working best that first week of October? I am starting to pull my gear together and would like to minimize what I bring up as much as possible. No point in bringing up a bunch of baits that might not work anyway.

Also wondering what we might be throwing as I would like to bring my own rods with me and just want to make sure I have the right tool for the job of landing those 50"ers.

Things might change quite a bit in the next week but I would guess we will be throwing a lot of jerkbaits(Bulldawgs) and crankbaits with a few cowgirls thrown in the mix.
