Ross's Guides have had a busy week with Musky, The weather has been cold, snowing and blowing but the Musky are still being caught. We didn't put any huge fish in the boat this week but the action has been good with many 3 and 4 fish days. Most of our fish have been coming on Weighted Suicks or Big Game minnow baits working them slow. We are getting some fish on suckers as well, our area is lucky and has a great supply of Suckers this season.
With the water temps falling to the upper 40's the Walleye action is picking up on the deeper breaks, Jig and Minnow or Berkly Gulp or Lindy Rigs and Minnows have been the most popular choice for targeting these deep Walleye, Anglers are also reporting catching bonus Perch and Crappie while fishing for deep Walleye. Most of the Crappie action is in the deeper areas of the lakes and they are still being taken drifting jig and minnow or jig and plastic combinations.
Some of our guides still have openings for late October and Early November Musky Trips.
