Dave from Nekoosa, Wisconsin and his son Tyler from Sun Prairie booked a morning trip for last Sunday that got rained out so we rebooked for today. A much nicer day weather wise at the start, but got a little breezy around noon. They wanted to mostly learn how to navigate the river and some locations and presentations to use. We worked areas around Chester Creek, Yellow Banks, and Ten-Mile Creek with live bait rigs and trolled some cranks in shallow water. We managed to boat 16 "shorties", 4 nice crappies, and 2 20" muskies for our efforts. The water levels are at last increasing with all the rain in the past two weeks. :)
