Thought I'd drop you a note to prove Carrie and I can catch fish once in a while, at least when we get closer to home where the fishing is easy. Those Chippewa Flowage Muskies are just too tough for us.
This makes two tournaments in a row that we've finished in second place. One of these days we'll figure out how to catch enough to win. I actually botched one that would have gave us the win this time. Put too much pressure on a nice one and pulled the hooks at the boat as Carrie was getting the net ready. Not the first time I've pulled that stunt.
Our water temperatures down here are in the low sixties, not trying to rub things in but we've still got several weeks of good fishing until we give up for the winter. Good luck to you on the rest of your season up there.
