The Bait Shop Guy

Ventured out this afternoon, hoping the smallies holding deep wouldn't be too affected by the big front that went through yesterday. All in all, the bite wasn't too bad. If I could have sealed the deal on all the fish I crossed paths with, it would have been a great trip. In the end, I only landed three bass - but two of them were the biggest I caught since the opener. One 20 incher, and a 21. The 21 was well over 5 pounds!
Lindy Rigging chubs along the West Break between Gladstone and the Escanaba River, 25 to 40 FOW.
I gotta go back to Photography 101 - don't take pictures with the sun at your back, LOL! Thank goodness for Photoshop.
