7 fish boated, 4 by 1 team!
When it comes to Shelbyville musky, these guys are clearly in a league of their own!
Congrats on the dominating and impressive victory, Tony Carswell and Dave Eichelberger!!!
A big congrats as well to IMTT Vice President Bob Taylor(Trail Champion) and Dane Garret(Trail Runner Up)!
A bit more info of the weekend:
13 teams
7 past IMTT Champions participated, and 37 attended Sat. banquet
Illinois Division of Fisheries Chief Debbie Bruce & Illinois River and Streams Manager Jim Mick attended dinner and spoke to the IMTT participants. Jim is heavily involved with the IFishIllinois.org website, so please check it out! You can find a link for the Musky Creel Survey there! IMTT founder Bob Kerans gave a historical overview of the IMTT, which really hit home what a special thing we have going in our home state.
The 1st Annual IMTT/Glenwood lodge Scholarship presented to student Kathryn Alber in the amount of $1500.00, which will help her to continue her fisheries biology studies.
Saturday's weather Rain, Sleet, over cast high 43 degrees northeast winds 5-10 mph
Sunday weather partly sunny high 48 degrees north north east winds2-8 mph
water temp 52-54 degrees
420 food items collected and donated to food pantry, proving once again that the IMTT is about helping the great communities of Illinois, wherever we visit. Nice job by Randy Feezer running the food drives this year, and to all of the generous IMTT members who stepped up and delivered when asked!!
