Sorry for the delay in reports, been busy slopping around in slush/resort/traveling for shows/seminars...
Well folks, the ice isn't going anywhere anytime soon. With around 30'' on most lakes, and lots of snow and slush, travel on most lakes is down to snowmobile. Some lakes that have had vehicle traffic all winter, still have some travel routes to spots. If you like to fish in a crowd, this will work for trucks.
Hopefully April will start to thaw a bit, otherwise the ice will be here until last week of April or later.
I just returned from a trip to Canada filming and haven't been out on the ice yet. I guess the crappies and perch are starting to bite better, and staging to their spawning areas. I will get out Wednesday and report back.
Good Luck!
