Any of you guys seeing open water? Unfortunately, all I have in my daily travels are a few small ponds to observe for ice conditions. Just curious to know how things are melting around the area. And, good luck to everyone this season. After seeing the fish that Mike Hulbert and his buddy caught recently, I need to get my butt on the water PRONTO!!

Guess I could have included a link to make it a little easier. This is where I first saw it.

Up here in the northern tundra....Kinzua was still totally covered with ice on saturday, had a few stress cracks that were open 6-10".
By the dam where the water is moving around it was open for about 500-600 yards.
River temps were 34 degrees.
Got a 31" pike and snagged a carp in the top of the back, was exciting right up until it started swimming in circles and I knew whatever it was was snagged.

Had to launch the boat at Nebraska yesterday cuz the glaciers had been blown down to the main launch on Tionesta Lake. I would expect most of that ice to be gone or almost gone as it did not appear to be very thick. 3/4 of the lake was open with water temps in the 44-46 zone.
