Tough morning on the river. Tom from Reedsburg and I hit the river below Nekoosa at 8 am. we worked minnows and Gulp in five different locations and pulled cranks for a while and could only muster one 14" walleye. marked a lot of fish on the Humminbird but could not get the to go. Water is still low but they are running the turbines at the mill so there is some current. There was a lot of boats out and we never seen anyone set the hook or boat a fish. I may try the afternoon bite tomorrow.
