Shore ice is starting to get bad, D.N.R. is not reccomending any travel on the lakes. Is is anywhere from 13 to 18 inches thick but it is not solid ice.
The Wis river/lake Mohawksin is open in the channel but still has lots of shore ice, none of the landings are open as of now.
High winds this weekend and maybe some heavy snow could break up the ice faster.
Some Crappie action below Prides Dam along with Walleye's, most are still undersized but some up to 18 inches caught this week.
Water temp below the Prides dam is 35 degree's
