Opening day Ice Fishing

Just got home from Mercer, Woke up to 4" of heavy wet snow this AM. It looked like mid-winter. I was told while up there 1' of soft ice and snow then 24" of hard ice yet. Even had the sleds on Fisher for the last time of the year. My guess is it will be Ice Fishing for the opener. Been up here 15 years now and never seen this much snow and ice in mid-April.

Dont say that! :( Better be all out by May 20th!!! On the bright side, there wont be a Mayfly hatch the week im there this year! :)

I think 2008 the flowage was still frozen? Or at least alot of ice left
