River is high, lakes are opening!

All gates on all dams on the river are open. Water in the river is really high and fast. A lot of debris in the water at this time makes fishing tough at best. The lakes ae starting to open and are filling slowly. "Pete" is still almost four feet low, and "The Rock" is about the same. The air temperatures are running about 20 degrees below normal and the snow and rain has been consistant since last Wednesday. At this point I would say it is going to be at least another week or more to get to nornal current flow and water levels. Sure is a big difference from past years. By my records we are least two weeks behind.:(
